OUR BREEDING PHILOSOPHY
OUR GERMAN SHEPHERD BREEDING PHILOSOPHY
We breed for exceptional personality traits, trainability and soundness of structure. We screen our adult breeding dogs for OFA certification or FCI status or Penn Hip and DM Certification BEFORE they enter our breeding program. We have chosen adults that produce championship conformation, tremendous family protection instincts, agility, and obedience traits and just plain great family pet potential. All our breeding dogs are our pets. We know and trust their personalities and breed to produce only the best that emulate their parents. Each adult has heavy German show background and working titles as well, including SCHH 1, 2 and 3, VA's and IPO's, certified Police Protection and service dogs, International UKC Champions and even some 2 time World Champions as their sires, Grandsires and Dams. If your puppy is nine weeks old or older, we start basic obedience and leash training before you pick the puppy up. Our puppies are vet checked, micro chipped and given appropriate shots and wormings as our vet recommends and are ready for their new homes. We test all of our puppies at 7 weeks to determine their best potential. All puppies carry certain traits that can be tested very early that should indicate what they will be best suited for as an adult. Some examples include: family protection, Service dogs, therapy dogs, breeding programs, conformation shows, obedience shows, agility and (of course) the right pet for your family. Most puppies will exhibit multiple traits. This is not a complete list or meant to indicate the limits of our dogs. Information about our available puppies or litters is on our Available puppies page, uncoming litters page and expected breedings page.
